Main Reasons Biometric Verification Is Rejected — and How to Fix It

Last updated on Dec 10, 2025

When submitting identity verification (biometrics) on Kirvano, make sure you follow these guidelines to avoid rejection:

✅ Requirements for a Correct Biometric Submission

  • Remove your document from any plastic holder (no lamination or cover).

  • Frame the document properly in the photo (all edges visible).

  • Frame your face properly in the selfie (face centered, clearly visible).

  • The RG (identity card) must have been issued within the last 10 years.

  • If using a CNH (driver’s license), it must not be expired.

  • Only RG or CNH are accepted — no other documents.

  • The environment must be well-lit.

  • Use a simple background (white, plain, without stripes or patterns).

  • Avoid any reflections on the document or in the selfie (turn off flash or avoid glare).

  • If you wear glasses, remove them before taking the selfie.

⚠️ Common Reasons Why Biometry Is Rejected

Your verification may be refused if any of the following issues apply:

  • Document belongs to a different person (i.e. name on doc ≠ name on account).

  • RG was issued more than 10 years ago.

  • CNH is expired.

  • Document is damaged, worn out, or unreadable.

  • The user is underage (minor).

  • Selfie taken without a shirt (e.g. bare-chested selfie).

  • More than one person appears in the photo.

ℹ️ Additional Notes and Special Cases

  • If you don’t have a valid RG or CNH, you may send a passport plus a selfie holding it (in some cases — according to Kirvano’s instructions).

  • For digital CNH (driver’s license), you can upload the PDF exported from the official CNH app.

  • If you are an emancipated minor (at least 16 years old), additional documentation is required (emancipation proof, RG less than 10 years old, selfie holding RG, and school enrollment or completion proof).
